Hi there folks,

As some of you will already know we are putting together the new Fireboard wiki so we can have a solid documentation system for all users. Part of this process will need a bit of user participation and if you can help we are looking for tutorials top be written on general administration of fireboard and also a complete section for developers.

Currently we have the basics written and the structure is being implemented at the moment so users can add their own information but for now if any of you feel you can give something back to fireboard let us know in this forum and we will get your tutorials from you, full credit is given when you write a piece for the docs section so get yourself immortalised in the pages of the Fireboard docs!

For those of you who have already written a tutorial that may have already moved through the forum, if you can pm me with the title name of the tutorial I will move it across to the docs forum to get ready for inclusion.

All of us at Fireboard thank you for your input, it is only through a forum like this that we are able to continue making the large strides forward in bringing you the best and only native Joomla! forum!

cheers

Hi,
one question: where do I get basic documentation as for example to find out how to extend or customize or create a new template?

Thanks

Hi Marcus, the basic docs are bundled in to the fireboard component zip file but they are just basic ones. Once the wiki is ready in the right format we will be launching that with all the more detailed info you will need, for now though have a browse through the forum which is at present the best source of info.

Unfortunatley due to personal reasons I have been unable to complete the wiki up to now

regards

How to install a wiki
1. go to joomla.org
2. download a wiki component
3. go to administration page
4. Install the component
5. Create a component button

Hope this can be implemented soon. ^_^

Cheers!

The Wiki is already a work in progress. I beliece Leigh said \"I have been unable to complete the wiki up to now\" not install.
