So here is my video tutorial on customizing Fireboard templates. It consists of 8 movies using QuickTime H.264. They are intended to be viewed in Order. This is tutorial presumes you have basic knowledge of HTML and CSS. It may be possible for those without to gain useful information, but it is not intended as a novice tutorial. These tutorials are provided without support or guarantee. Please do not PM me with questions. At this time I do not have plans for additional videos.

Chapter 1: Tools I use in the tutorial
- Discusses using Firebox and needed plugins

Chapter 2: Additional Tools
- A very brief discussion on JSAS & LAMP, plus Dreamweaver

Chapter 3: How to change the main header color in Fireboard\'s default template

Chapter 4: Changing the Top Link Colors

Chapter 5: Parent / Children
- Over-view of Parent/Children relationship in CSS + sub header changes & category title color changes

Chapter 6: Changing the Profile Box in Message View

Chapter 7: Changing the Forum Tool Box

Chapter 8: CSS References
- Additional information on where to learn CSS.

These files are hosted on Archive.org (thanks smileyman111). Archive.org does not list these files in numeric order so pay attention to file names. For the high-res versions you will need QuickTime 7.x to view these files or support for H.264 codecs. These files are 640x480 in size. Archive.org has lower quality versions for streaming and download. The links titled \"QuickTime\" on the left-hand side are those to the high-res versions (Recommended).

The tutorial is now available on iTunes! This makes for a much quicker download than Archive.org and easier to see the file order.

The tutorial was intuitive and of a good concept and style for both mac and PC user.
I found it very helpful with a step by step guide approach! :)

My only issue is that the tutorial is very small in text, it could of been better with fullscreen, other than that... its great.

Good job and well done.:P

The size is depended on which video files you download. The large video files at the bottom of the left-hand menu are 640x480 and should scale well up to full screen.

Thanks for the continued compliments.

Try changing the CSS for the joomla template you are using instead of the fireboard template I think that is what you are looking for.
