Using the following characters in the forum description textarea will automatically insert a backslash (\\) before the character:
\'
\"
I\'m using the latest FB 1.0.5NB10 but the bug seems to have been around since 1.0.4 so I\'m not sure if it\'s been fixed yet.

I can\'t reproduce it... do you use one of the default FB templates?

Re:Forum Description adds backslashes 9 Years, 3 Months ago
Yes I am using the default theme.
The slashes are added and stored in the database so I don\'t think it\'s a theme issue.
They appear in the description when i choose to edit the forum again.

For instance the word \"Let\'s\" becomes \"Let\\\'s\".
And this time around, if I save the form, it adds another 2 slashes (one before the \' again and another before the existing \\) and becomes \"Let\\\\\\\'s\".
