Fireboard disabeling mootools? 10 Years ago
Every time I click on the \"Forums aka Fireboard\" link, it disables the mootool actions.

Can anyone verify this? And if I\'m the only one with this problem, can anyone help me out?

(Did a clean 1.0.3 install and I\'m running 1.5RC2, had the same problem with 1.0.2RC2 as well)

This is a known issue and there is not a good solution that I have found. Any chance you are using a Yootheme template?

Fireboard and YooTheme 10 Years ago
Yootheme is the first template with MooTools integration that I\'ve had this problem with. Unfortunately on my main site it means I am running SMF.

If you search the Yootheme forums, several have offered advice. The best solution I found there was to comment out the JB_JQURL line in fireboard.php (line 101). But I didn\'t want to do leave it that way since I have no clue what it does. But the fix did seem to work.

Re:Fireboard and YooTheme 10 Years ago
The reason is that Mootools library (and its people) don\'t like to work with other libraries together. the reason is $event variable name inside mootools library that conflicts with jQuery javascript library. I would suggest download an uncompressed mootools library and rename all the $events to $events2 and try it again.

Oh that is a great idea, this would make it work with clexus too right? going try that this week end. But is this going to make mootools slower? Can we recompress it again? Do we have to change any $events in the code too?
thanks a lot for this information....

Re:Fireboard and YooTheme 10 Years ago
Just rename $events and recompress it. it should work for both clexuspm and FB.

Re:Fireboard and YooTheme 10 Years ago
ok good I\'ll do it
Just as a reference look there

Maybe people using jquery can rename it easily in the future according to this article. So that we will natively have compatibility between both.
Anyway it works cool. I don\'t know either how to recompress but did not look into it yet... Is it a rar zip or something like that?

Re:Fireboard and YooTheme 10 Years ago
no. its not like rar or zip. you can take a look mootools.net if u interest. but still we don\'t know how we will recompress it :)
