Hi all,
I have problem with displaying of uploaded images.
After image upload tag image size is set to image width size.
If for example image Width and Height is 1200x1600 than image size is set to 1200 [image size=1200] and image is not displayed.
When [image size ]value is changed ( by manual post editing ) to 999 or lover value - image is displayed.
regards, pavel

Example code:

[quote]img size=640[/quote]

for this image [img size=487]http://www.bestofjoomla.com/components/com_fireboard/uploaded/images/small_foto_prop.jpg[/img]

I am added this code

[i]if ($width>\'500\') {

$code=\'[img size=500]\'.JB_DIRECTURL.\'/uploaded/images/\'.$newFileName.\'....

}
[/i]

into fb_image_upload.php file to set max image size.

Regards, pavel

Re:image upload 10 Years ago
This problem occurs within the com_fireboard//template/default/smile.class.php class.

When matching the tag [img size=XXX] it only checks for 3 numbers 0-9 i.e. where the tag is [img size=[0-9][0-9][0-9]].

Therefore it will never parse an img tag with a size larger than 999.

To get around this issue go into the com_fireboard//template/default/smile.class.php file.
Search for $fb_message_txt = preg_replace(\"/\\[img size=([0-9][0-9][0-9])\\](.*?)\\[\\/img\\]/si\", \"\", $fb_message_txt);

and change the regular expression to suit your needs.

For example change [img size=([0-9][0-9][0-9])\\] to [img size=([0-9]?[0-9][0-9][0-9])\\] to allow the possibility of image sizes up to 9999.

You need the question mark after the new entry, as for sizes under 1000 the first number (the one we have just added) will not exist, and the ? checks for 0 or 1 instances of pattern i.e. 0 or 1 instances of a number between 0 and 9 here.

Hope this helps,
