this is a superb looking site, top effort to all involved. a very professional and well thought out site with a quality looking product from what i can see.

i currently run a joomlaboard forum with 1200+ members, will there be a possibility of running a conversion script to change over to fireboard from joomlaboard keeping all the current posts?

Try redownloading the component, dropping all jos_fb tables and reinstalling the component. Then you can convert from JB to FB.
There were some issues with the sql in the initial release. Let us know if that doesn\'t resolve your problem.

The converter will only show if there are no Fireboard tables in the database. If you want to reconvert the data, for whatever reason, you will need to drop all of the jos_fb tables (there are 12, I believe). Once the tables are gone, you will see the convert button again.
