i would love it if there was better image management than joomlaboard

- this includes auto image resizing when a user uploads
- also an easier, more user friendly way of uploading them, as many of my 1000+ members struggle trying to understand how to upload images in their posts.
- the ability to upload several images into the same post

Yes I agree. Fireboard is great but I would like to see a bit easier image upload. A auto resize would be awesome.

Multiple image/attachment uploads would be awesome.

I\'m not sure about auto resizing. I\'d prefer auto thumbnail, with full image on click. This is how I have it now after some creative implementation of lightbox.

As far as ease of image uploads, it\'s pretty easy. No different than say, SMF. if you don\'t use the little tag placement button, it places it at the bottom. What\'s so hard about that? This can all be made better by adding a small instruction line after the button in the template.

What I would like is a checkbox that allowed you to upload another image. SMF style. Where upon clicking it, it greyed out the first one, and made a new image upload box for the next image.

Similar style for the attachments.

Personally I like the ability to place the image anywhere in your post. If people don\'t know how to use it. Add instructions to your template.

Regards,
Rich

Gallery2 Image Chooser needed 10 Years ago
Many Joomla junkies have installed an integration with gallery2 image gallery. It would make for a great fireboard plugin to be able to search through the gallery and choose a picture to insert into a fb item.
See for instance the Gallery2 Image Chooser plugin for JCE, aka g2image.

Is this feasable, or no-go in a non-wysiwyg editor like the current fb editor?

Yes this would have been a great feature! Multiply image upload in one post.

I agree - please multiple images (or files) in one post with improved management and auto-resizing or better for me - clickable thumbnail creation. And if you want to get fancy, when clicking the thumbnail make the larger image pop-up and darken the rest of the screen like some java modules do.

I won\'t hold my breath for that last bit.

Hmmm, yes please, would like to be able to uploads multiple images per post and a auto resize would be great addition to that function.
