Password Protect? 10 Years, 5 Months ago
Wow, this is looking good. I am currently building a gaming community using Community Builder, Group Jive and SMF. The biggest problem is giving Groupjive groups their own boards because there is no way to import groups into SMF. The only solution is to password protect the group boards but oops, the latest posts shows all posts from all boards and no way to hide them. Since Fireboard has the option to select the boards to show in the latest posts it is looking good. Now how about being able to password protect certain boards? Or maybe even better being able to import Groupjive groups so that they have private forums not viewable by anyone else. That would be perfect. I will definitely be keeping an eye on this wonderful looking component!

Is Groupjive producing Joomla groups? If so maybe you can ask our devs to include group access. That shouldn\'t be a killer one.

No documentation either. Groupjive is still alpha and documentation will be comming with the first Beta release. As of now Groupjive is a component that allows users to open and / join groups but only within that component where they have a type of pinboard to leave messages within the group. Here is a link to groupjive if you want to have a look: http://www.groupjive.org/index.php?option=com_frontpage&Itemid=26
