Hi I see the new additions. All are welcome.
Will there be a router.php file (because U said J1.5 native)?
Also meta description (basic or decent for categories, posts, forum) would be welcome.
Can`t wait to see FB 2.. :)

P.S.: What about the template instalation sistem, will the templates be HTML and CSS?

Yes, there will be.

Templates are HTML as much as possible.

Additions will come in time, once the framework is there. The best part about FB2 is that it has been coded from scratch and well designed.

Will we this time around see PHP tags when creating templates? Read some post on the forum about FireBiard 1.x being to much of PHP to be handled by n00bs like me.

Also, the dashboard will be Joomla! 1.5 look-a-like? And I really hope that when you release a beta, you will listen to feedback from the users. Because I see many developers that create extensions for Joomla! that does not utilize the native look and feel.

You will need very basic PHP knowledge, such as foreach loops and echo, not beyond that.

Not that I don\'t believe that you would create a awesome component. But from the focus issue regaring the main menu on this site. I have a disbelieves. Hopefully this can change with FireBoard 2.0 :P

Thank you for the update!

Question: Will it be easy to upgrade Fireboard 1 to Fireboard 2?

Also, any guess on when we can expect a version of FB 2 that can run on a live site?

Without an automatic upgrade system it will be difficult, that\'s why we will provide a migration script for sure.

regarding ETA, you can always follow the roadmap: http://www.bestofjoomla.net/wiki/com_fireboard/fireboard_roadmap/start

cheers
