the box that shows who posted the thread is too thin, so a scrollbar shows up. See photo below

But the smiley thing didnt fix the issue.
i made a new thread with no smilies at all, and it still made a scrollbar..

i was using default grey before i downloaded defult_ex
i dont wanna have to switch back because default_ex is sooo much better!

Having the same issue here. Tried changing the table widths and div widths in css and php, no luck. Anyone have some suggestions?

I played around with the message.php file within the default_ex template, and the forum.css file, and still couldnt get it to work.
I tried many different attributes...widths, heights, paddings, margins, etc..
Im thinking it happens because the width of the template is fixed, not fluid..so it needs a website thats greater than or equal to its width..

The thing I don\'t understand is that from what I see after looking through the code, the default_ex template is pretty much just a modified default template, but with some additions and the left and right table columns switched.
The default template works fine, even with my narrower site template, but the default_ex squishes the avatar / poster info box.
I got the box to be unsquished by changing removing the overflow: auto in CSS, but now the forum section moves out of my template boundary on the right side.
It seems like such a simple thing to fix, but I just can\'t seem to get it working right. Any input from the template author?
